Which vehicles are supported?

MotorBit OBD2 works with vehicles that support the OBD-II standard. Generally:

• 1996 and newer US vehicles
• 2001 and newer gasoline European vehicles
• 2004 and newer diesel European vehicles

Which OBD devices can I use?

The app works with ELM327-compatible Bluetooth adapters.

The app does not connect to the vehicle

Please check the following:

• Is Bluetooth turned on?
• Is the OBD adapter plugged into the vehicle?
• Is the ignition on?
• Is the correct device selected?

How can I clear error codes?

You can use the “Clear Codes” option in the Trouble Codes section. However, if the issue persists, the Check Engine light may come back on.

What is demo mode?

Demo mode allows you to test the app without an OBD device. Simulated vehicle data is displayed.

Privacy

MotorBit OBD2 does not send user data to any server. All vehicle data is stored only on your device.
